Vesange Maha Geetha Govindaya – Vocalists illustrate the solidarity of multi cultures in the country

Remarkable Vesak event ‘Vesange Maha Geetha Govindaya’, to mark Vesak came on, staged at Sirimavo Bandaranaike Memorial Hall on May 28. Songs sung by Buddhists, Hindus, Muslims, Catholics and Christian vocalists representing the solidarity of multi – cultures in the country. Musical show was featured with music provided by veteran Music Director Rohana Weerasinghe.

Media and Information Minister Keheliya Rambukwella was the chief guest at the event. Picture shows Parliamentarian Manusha Nanayakkara and Media Ministry Secretary Charitha Herath lighting the oil lamp to inaugurate the event.
