A meeting of the Heads of Media Institutions with H.E. the President to enlighten Media on the present situation of the country and the future government programmes was held yesterday morning at temple trees under the patronage of H.E. the President.
Hon. Keheliya Rambukwella, Minister of Mass Media and Information, Hon. Maithreepala Sirisena, Minister of Health, Hon. Basil Rajapaksa, Minister of Economic Development, Hon. Anura Priyadarshana Yapa, Minister of Environment, Hon. Susil Premajayantha, Minister of Petroleum Industries, Hon. Dilan Perera, Minister of Foreign employment Promotion and Welfare, Hon. Mahinda Samarasinghe, Minister of Plantation Industries, Hon. Wimal Weerawansa, Minister of Construction and Engineering Services, Mr. Lalith Weerathunga, Secretary to the President, Mr. Charitha Herath, Secretary, Ministry of Mass Media and Information along with senior Government officials and Heads of Media institutions attended this meeting.
