A discussion to obtain views and proposals of the Heads of the media institutions was held yesterday (04th) at the Temple Trees under the patronage of H.E the president, Mahinda Rajapaksa. This discussion which was organized to obtain proposals for budget 2013 in relation to the purview of Media was attended by the Heads of state as well as private sector Media institutions along with Hon. Dr. Keheliya Rambukwella, Minister of Mass Media and Information, Hon. Basil Rajapaksa, Minister of Economic Development, Hon Anura Priyadarsana yapa Minister of Environment, Mr. Lalith Weerathunga, Secretary to the President, Dr. P.B Jayasundara, Secretary to the Ministry of Finance and Mr. Charitha Herath Secretary to the Ministry of Mass Media and Information and a number of senior Government officials.
